Disclaimer: This is the final version of Spine Decide. But dont worry, all of the content and features of Spine Decide have been moved to the new Orca Health app. Users who have not previously downloaded Spine Decide should download the Orca Health app instead.

This update to Spine Decide enables users who have previously subscribed to access their subscriptions in the new Orca Health app. Simply sign up for an account, and use that account to login to the new app to access your subscribed content.

Existing subscribers can continue to use Spine Decide to access their content, but we strongly recommend switching to the new Orca Health app to take advantage of its enhanced features. After a brief period to allow existing subscribers to switch to the new app, Spine Decide will be removed from the App Store and existing subscriptions will no longer auto-renew. New subscriptions to Spine Decide cannot be purchased in this version, but the same content can be purchased in the new app. Orca Health cannot cancel, edit, renew, refund or otherwise manage your subscription. In-app subscriptions are entirely the purview of Apple via iTunes.

The new app provides a better user experience by seamlessly including the content from all Orca Health Decide apps, (Spine, Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Hand, Foot, Eye, ENT, and Dental) together in one app. In addition, the Orca Health app will be maintained and updated to take advantage of the growing features and capabilities of iOS. Users of the new app can purchase discounted subscriptions to multiple anatomical regions. Users can also favorite the diagnosis, treatments, and exercises they are most interested in. Furthermore, users who have iOS 11 installed on compatible devices will be able to view anatomy in augmented reality, or AR.

We thank you for your interest in Spine Decide, and apologize for any inconvenience caused during this transition. We hope that you will find the new Orca Health app to be worth it.

Pros and cons of Spine Decide app for iPhone and iPad

Spine Decide app good for

Congratulations, great app . Develop better teaching between therapist and patient. I recommend to all health professionals.
Love it, although in english ( I am a doctor in Germany ) it is very usefull explaining several complicated procedures to patients. Great Job!!
An amazing app. Gives you complete visual feedback for spine injuries and anatomy. Please unlock all videos.
But only one request - add different languages!!!!! Russian would be much appreciated!!!!!
I love this app for school. I stumbled upon it trying to look for better ways to learn anatomy. I love using the 3D to check out the spine. It also has a bunch of other great content in it as well.
Spine Decide is best educational app for spine issues. This app is best for all people having back ache must have this app it tell us common spinal conditions and surgical and nonoperative treatments for back ache. Moreover you can learn stretching and strengthening videos that can be used by patients on daily basis.

Some bad moments

As a physician, I was excited to see this app. But the info connected to the graphics seem to have come out of an ancient textbook. For example, it claims a disc bulge will not cause sciatica. This is not only wrong, but may have real health consequences if patients take it as fact. This app is clearly put together by someone without clinical experience in this area
Each time I click on the icon for conditions this app crashes on iPad and ios7.
First of all this app does not tell you that it costs money. Yes, the app is free to download, but where most apps would say "in app purchases", this one makes you buy a subscription on their website so they dont have to say that (its outside the app). The fact that they are not up front about them only giving you a few slides and you have to subscribe for the rest is just sneaky and underhanded.
Ive tried several times to download the update to no avail. Has it not been uploaded? I will change my rating once this "bug" has been fixed. Thank you.
This is a decent app for anyone interested in learning something about various spine problems. My only wishes to improve the app would be for the ability to enlarge the photos (screens with 2 images are rather small and cant be zoomed) and to be able to zoom into specific areas of the 3D spine - it can be zoomed, but only into the center. Id like to be able to zoom into, for example, the cervical spine in order to examine it more closely.
We use this lineup of apps at the PT clinic I work at, its great for visual demonstrations. Also, if you want to zoom in to a specific area on the 3D model, you just have to read the directions... "Pinch to zoom" and "pan with 3 fingers" are clearly and openly visible...
